Marquinhos To Get New Roma Contract

Marquinhos
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are looking to tighten their grip on teenage defender Marquinhos following his fine campaign at the Olimpico.

The Brazilian joined the capital club in the summer from Corinthians on a loan deal, but with the understanding that Roma would be forced to buy once he played in eight League games.

The South American has featured in 23 Serie A matches so far, attracting
transfer interest from clubs in Spain in the process.

The 18-year-old’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico runs until 2018, but the Gazzetta dello Sport claims that a new improved deal is on the horizon.

Sporting director Walter Sabatini is said to have already started talks with the player’s entourage. The stopper currently earns around €0.8m a season.
