The Brazilian joined the capital club in the summer from Corinthians on a loan deal, but with the understanding that Roma would be forced to buy once he played in eight League games.
The South American has featured in 23 Serie A matches so far, attracting
transfer interest from clubs in Spain in the process.
The 18-year-old’s contract at the Stadio Olimpico runs until 2018, but the Gazzetta dello Sport claims that a new improved deal is on the horizon.
Sporting director Walter Sabatini is said to have already started talks with the player’s entourage. The stopper currently earns around €0.8m a season.
