Destro Fit To Play Against Inter

Mattia Destro
According to Roma Channel, Roma boss Aurelio Andreazzoli has confirmed Mattia Destro is fit to face Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg.

The Italian capital club ran out 2-1 winners at the Stadio Olimpico in the first clash between the two sides, but Destro has been forced to watch on from the sidelines in recent weeks after suffering a knee injury.

But after being left out of the 2-1 victory over Torino, Andreazzolli is confident Destro is now fit and ready to feature against his former club on Wednesday.

"Destro was rested in Turin in order to give him an extra 3-4 days to prepare. Tomorrow's game will be his for many reasons, because
of his return from injury, the importance of the game and the fact he is facing his former team Inter."  he said.

He did rule out any appearance for Miralem Pjanic, while refusing to disclose whether or not Daniele de Rossi would be included.

He continued: "Pjanic is not fit. I do not think he will be part of the team tomorrow, even though we still have a day to evaluate.

"De Rossi arrives after seven to eight days in which he has done very little. His situation is getting better and we would be thrilled to have him available.

"We play tomorrow against a team of 11 players who will be motivated. The environment in Inter is very good. We will have an unfavourable public as well as a team."
