The London club and nouveau-riche Russians are each preparing to launch a bid for the Italy international when the transfer window opens in July.
The 27-year-old striker’s future has been the subject of widespread speculation of late as his rapport with the capital club’s fans has deteriorated following a February 10 penalty kick-based incident in Genoa against Sampdoria.
Osvaldo, who has also been linked with Chelsea and Juventus, has scored 11
goals in 23 Serie A appearances this campaign but has failed to find the back of the net since January 27.
