The 26-year-old defensive midfielder, who made his debut for Brazil in November 2012 against Argentina, has attracted interest from the Giallorossi of late.
“I heard the rumours circulating in Italy, but if Roma are interested they must speak to the club first,” he told reporters.
“At the moment I think Jean will be with us for a long time.”
Jean only joined Fluminense in 2012 and has made a total of 60 appearances for the club.
