Andreazzoli Satisfied With Victory Over Atalanta

Aurelio Andreazzoli
According to  Rai Sport, Roma coach Aurelio Andreazzoli was pleased to see his side pick up a win in tough playing conditions as the Giallorossi secured a 3-2 victory over Atalanta in the snow on Sunday.

The Giallorossi were coming off an impressive win over Juventus last week and Andreazzoli hopes their willingness to battle
continues.

“We are happy because of how we first beat Juventus and now Atalanta,”

“The latter came on a heavy pitch that saw us as underdogs, against a side that uses grit as their main attribute and for that reason we came out ready to battle.”

“Lamela? Certainly he can play better. The pitch did not favour him today with regards to his skills. Let’s remember that Consigli took a goal away from him with a save and that the coach is happy with the contribution the player made to the squad.”

“Me as as caretaker? I feel like a component of the club, with whom I have a long contract and am simply a work that does the club’s interests as a goal.”

“There isn’t much sense to talk about goals and long term goals in these situations. Obviously being in this dressing room for eight years has helped as I have had clear ideas since the beginning regarding every situation.”

“I don’t believe there is anyone in the world who wouldn’t want to be Roma coach.”

“A sheikh entering the club? It is does not regard the sporting group of AS Roma.”
