Stekelenburg Could Stay At Roma

After several unpleasant performances of Mauro Goicoechea, and due to a lack of offers from any other clubs, Maarten Stekelenburg could stay at his current team at least until June.

According to Il Tempo, it is not certain that the Dutch goalkeeper will depart Roma in January, especially after the Zeman's words relating to the possible arrival of Viviano, describing  these speculations as 'fantasy and not reality'.

On the other hand, the Giallorossi have never received a concrete offer from any other club for the popular 'Van der Sar II'.

Additionally, after yesterday's bad performance of Goicoechea, Maarten's
chances of being selected as first-choice goalkeeper have increased significantly.
