Andreazzoli was chosen to stand in as the Giallorossi’s head coach until the end of the season after Zdenek Zeman was sacked in February.
The 59-year-old suffered a loss against Sampdoria in
his first match on the job, but has since led the Lupi to an impressive string of victories, including a giant win over league leaders Juventus.
“If I’m honest, I do think that I deserve to be confirmed in the job,” he said, in response to questions regarding his future.
“But the fact remains that I am an employee of the club who for five years has been asked to perform a certain task. I’ll do whatever the club tell me to do in the future.”
“I’m working in a joyful environment, I’m happy and I therefore have no worries about what may happen next.”
“I’m ready for anything. If, in June, I have to put myself at the disposal of a new coach then I will do so without any problems.”
Roma will be heading over to the Stadio Friuli next to take on Udinese.
