Roma Join Race For Julio Cesar

Julio Cesar
The Giallorossi have joined AC Milan in the race to sign Julio Cesar from Queens Park Rangers.

QPR were relegated from the English Premier League last weekend and their Brazilian shot stopper, who only joined the Hoops last summer, is looking for a new club.

The Brazilian international’s arrival at Loftus Road was viewed as somewhat of a coup for the club after he left Inter by mutual consent in summer 2012.

Cesar, 33, reportedly earns £90,000-a-week and QPR are keen to get many of their high earners off their wage bill next season. This has alerted Milan and now
it is thought that Roma are also mulling over a possible bid.

A stumbling block could be the fact that the player still has three years left on his contract and in the current climate most teams would be unlikely to match that deal.

He has made 26 appearances this season conceding 41 times.
