Roma Make A €7 Million Bid For Josip Ilicic

As Tuttomercatoweb informs, the Giallorossi have offered €7 million to Palermo for midfield playmaker Josip Ilicic.

Palermo were relegated last weekend following their loss to Fiorentina, and the club look likely to lose several key players in the offseason.

Currently, Ilicic looks to be the first to part ways with the Rosanero should a deal for the Slovenian be approved by team president Maurizio Zamparini.

Transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla recently spoke about Ilicic’s possible
move to Roma, but outlined that there are several other clubs looking to sign the player.

“Josip Ilicic is clearly intended to leave Palermo after a traumatic demotion for everyone,” Pedulla stated. “It has been a difficult season on a personal level, although redeemed by an excellent final performance.

“The offers will not fail, even from abroad, and he’s really liked by Fiorentina in Italy.

“Roma have offered €7 million and Ilicic is considered a priority for the next season. ”

The 25-year-old joined Palermo in 2010 from Maribor for about €2.3 million, and since his arrival, Ilicic has been a constant in the Rosanero’s side.

After a slow start to this season, Ilicic has tallied 10 goals and two assists in 31 games, his best goal scoring output in his three years with the Sicilians.
